Ingredients
  

For the Sparkling Powder

For the Mojito

  • 50 ml white rum
  • 20 ml lime juice
  • 10 ml syrup
  • soda water to top up
  • mint leaves
  • 1 part lime

Directions
 

For the Sparkling Powder

  • Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl using a whisk to make sure they are fully combined.
  • Dip the rim of a glass into a little olive oil then immediately dip the inverted glass into the sparkling powder. It should stick and coat the rim of the glass.

For the Mojito

  • Agitate the mint slightly in the glass.
  • Add the rum, lime juice and simple syrup.
  • Add crushed ice then top up with soda water and finish with fresh mint leaves and a part of lime.
  • Serve the drink immediately in the prepared glass.
